One last reminder! If you know a digger who passed from this life to be with the Lord during any year of her stud, please send me her name, her birth date (especially year) and the year of her death. Include the town and state/province/country, etc… in which she lived. There are quite a few now, who have left us. Some were studying on their own, rather than in groups. These lone diggers in remote areas will be particularly hard to find, so help if you can. I’m wanting to include their names on the dedication page of the upcoming study. Several have already been submitted, but I don’t want to exclude any that you may have loved. Send them to byhcontest@gmail.com.
Diggers are a very special group of women. We are not exclusive. There’s always room for more. We have not arrived. Studying the Word just shows us how much more there is to know. We are not generally in a hurry to leave this world, but we are focused on things above. We share the common first goal. And we plan to share the end of our hope forever.
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. (Colossians 3:1,2)
Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. (1 Peter 1:9)
The end is so much better than the beginning!

Having spent the last several days in the Word and working on our next year’s Dgging Deep study, I have come, as is the case, every single year, to love the Word more; all of it, for every single aspect of my life, for all of my days. I think that’s what digging in the Word does for sisters…it just sets our affections more firmly on things above. Another thing that gives me a more focused heavenward view is the deaths of people I love. For all of us, the number of loved ones
