Digging Deep is all about that this year!
I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene. I do wonder how He could love me, a sinner condemned and unclean.
I stand amazed at the beauty of praises of hundreds of Christians. I stand amazed at the great consolation that flows through these hallways between Christians who have longed to be together again after a three year PTP hiatus. I stand amazed at the depth of the material being presented from the Word this week. I stand amazed at the spiritual growth that’s palpable in the zeal and the evangelism stories I am hearing. Among those are many diggers who are evangelizing using Digging Deep. I heard about seven baptisms in one area of the country due to a digger reaching out with the study. Nine Tanzanian women were finishers this year. And the study is currently being translated for our Spanish speaking communities. I am thankful to the One who is worthy of all glory for any meager human efforts. I praise Him!
I’m thankful for the reception you’ve given the new study. Now is the time to invite and encourage. Is there one friend you could ask to accompany you on this year’s study journey? The comfort is only for those who are in Christ. Can you offer it to someone in need through an invitation to study along?
I’m praying hard for this year’s study. I know He can do more than we ask or imagine. But he lets even small people like me be the conduit for His power in lives. I know there can be souls secured for heaven through the study this year if we will but invite.
