The new Digging Deep study is “GLORY!” It’s officially beginning on September 1st, but the free downloads and the books are flying off the virtual and actual shelves! I’m over-the-top excited about the study because it’s one that’s intrigued me for a very long time. What , exactly, is His glory and why do we read about it both in the good and obedient eras of His people’s history and in their disobedient times as well? How could His glory fill a place and how could people see it and fear it? This is the substance of the study. Its aim is to learn to give Him glory. What does that mean and what does it look like in our lives? I’m daily praying for this glory study and for the ultimate practical ways that we can fill our hearts, homes, communities and congregations with His glory.
At last, the free download, the new study book, the t-shirts and totes are all up for sale here: https://thecolleyhouse.org/store#!/Digging-Deep/c/20688312/offset=0&sort=normal. There’s a book and shirt bundle and a reduced price when you order six or more books. (I’m loving my tote. It’s already served me very well at Polishing the Pulpit. It’s roomy and sturdy. The shirts are Comfort Colors once again.) I hope you like it all.
For those who are at PTP, we will have these materials at our table in the exhibit hall all week. We will be sure the table is manned on Tuesday from 8:30-10:00 am and from 1:30 to 3:00. You’ll see someone there at other hit-and-miss times, too!
Don’t forget that Tuesday at 12:30 is our wrap-up podcast for the Authority study. This will be live-streamed from Ballroom A at PTP. Join us in that room or on the livestream for a succinct list of bullet points from our study of Authority. I’m a little sad to see it finished because it has helped me in key ways to be more firmly convicted about why I do the things I do in worship and service,.
Finally, please share the instructional video to help newcomers navigate the study and find the materials. It’s here:
I’m deeply thankful for the diggers. I’m especially grateful for those who are here at Polishing the Pulpit this week and have been so very patient and encouraging as we are trying to birth this “baby” named GLORY!
